Encouraged Subjects

Industry-Related Posts
Please DO post your succinct questions and answers, announcements about events, products, and job opportunities and your input on discussions of workplace issues. As long as the topic isindustry-related, and your TOPIC clearly defined in your SUBJECTline, it is acceptable (exceptions noted below).

Discouraged Subjects

jokes/chain letters/junk mail/off-topic discussions
It's tempting to share particularly funny stuff, but please, not on this list! These exclusions primarily in the interest of keeping our mailboxes uncluttered!

Subjects generating more heat than light.
Occasionally, a subject will come up that generates lots of posts because of its controversial nature. If the discussion threatens to overwhelm our mailboxes, or becomes nasty, we will make the strong suggestion that those interested in discussing it further take their discussion off the list.

Post a SUMMARY to questions

If you've posted a QUESTION to the group, and have many valuable personal replies you've collected, we'd appreciate if you have the time to post a SUMMARY of those answers for the benefit of others who might also be wondering.

Don't Use Attachments
